MyGel Polish Direction:

Step-By-Step Application Guide

Elevate your nail game with MyGel! 💅✨
Follow these expert steps for flawless gel polish application:

Step #1: Nail Prep

✨ Prioritize hygiene – sanitize your hands and your customer’s hands.

✨ Gently push back cuticles using a cuticle pusher, then trim away any excess with nippers.

✨ Shape your nails with precision using our MyGel 220/240 grit File.

✨ Smooth out the nail surface by gently buffing with our MyGel 100/180 grit Buffer to remove shine.

✨ Thoroughly dehydrate and cleanse the nail plate with 100% pure acetone for optimal adhesion.

Step #2: Primer & Base Coat

✨ Apply one coat of our MyGel Primer, ensuring to cover the entire nail surface.

✨ Follow with a thin and precise layer of MyGel Protective Base Coat or MyGel Rubber/Rubber+ Base Coat.

✨ Seal the free edge for added durability.

✨ Cure for 60 seconds using our MyGel Shine On Lamp or 90 seconds in low heat mode. Other lamps are not recommended. If a ‘heat spike’ occurs, remove nails from the lamp, and regain lost seconds by using Low Heat Mode again.

Step #3: First Layer

✨ Apply a thin coat of any MyGel gel color, ensuring to seal the free edge. Prevent the gel polish from coming into contact with the skin and cuticles. If necessary, use the Woodstick to clean the skin directly.

✨ Cure for 60 seconds using our MyGel Shine On Lamp, specially designed to cure MyGel products. Other lamps are not recommended.

Step #4: Second Layer

✨ Apply a second even coat of color, sealing the free edge. Prevent the gel polish from coming into contact with the skin and cuticles. If necessary, use the Woodstick to clean the skin directly.

✨ Cure for 60 seconds using our MyGel Shine On Lamp, designed for optimal MyGel product curing. Other lamps are not recommended.

Step #5: Top Coat

✨ Apply MyGel Eternal Shine Top Coat, or MyGel Matte Top Coat, sealing the free edge. ✨ Cure for 60 seconds using our MyGel Shine On Lamp, exclusively designed to cure MyGel products. Other lamps are not recommended.

✨ No need to wipe or cleanse after curing. All MyGel top coats are non-wipe for your convenience.

Discover the MyGel difference – long-lasting shine, vibrant colors, and a flawless salon-worthy finish every time! 💕  ✨ #MyGel #NailGoals #GelPolishPerfection

Gel Polish Removal: 3 Simple Methods

1 – Gel Polish Removal Wraps:

✨Prioritize hygiene – sanitize your hands and your customer’s hands.

✨Soak cotton pads or lint-free wipes in 100% acetone.

✨Place the soaked pads/wipes on each nail.

✨Wrap the nails individually with aluminum foil, specially designed gel polish removal wraps, or gel polish removal caps over the pads/wipes, ensuring a snug fit.

✨Leave them on for 10 to 15 minutes to allow the acetone to dissolve the gel polish.

✨Afterward, gently remove the wraps and use a cuticle pusher to scrape off any remaining gel polish.

2 – Electric Nail File:

✨Prioritize hygiene – sanitize your hands and your customer’s hands

✨Use a low-speed electric nail file with a fine-grit sanding attachment.

✨Carefully file away the top layer of the gel polish until it becomes thin.

✨Avoid filing down too much to prevent damaging the natural nail.

✨Once the gel polish is sufficiently thinned, switch to a finer-grit buffer to gently buff off the remaining polish.

3 – Gel Remover Application:

✨Prioritize hygiene – sanitize your hands and your customer’s hands

✨Apply a gel polish remover specifically designed for dissolving gel nails.

✨Use a brush or applicator to generously apply the gel remover over the entire surface of each nail.

✨Ensure that the gel remover fully covers the gel polish.

✨Allow the gel remover to sit on the nails for the recommended amount of time specified by the product (usually 5-10 minutes).

✨Use a cuticle pusher or an orangewood stick to gently scrape off the dissolved gel polish.

✨Repeat the process if necessary to remove any remaining gel polish.

✨Afterward, rinse the nails with water and moisturize them with cuticle oil or a hydrating nail treatment.

Remember, whichever method you choose, always follow up with proper nail care and moisturize your nails and cuticles afterward to restore hydration.
